Safety and Care

We recommend you view the safety and care advice below to effectively use our products. If you have any questions or concerns, contact us directly.

Burning Instructions

  • Trim the wick to 5mm before lighting.
  • Burn for 2-4 hours at a time, ensure the melt pool reaches the edge of the candle container before extinguishing, this will help to prevent a "tunnelling" effect and is especially important during the first burn.
  • Always place your candle and burn on a level fire resistant surface.
  • Keep it free from foreign material, including wick trimmings.

Extinguishing your Candle

  • We advise using a candle snuffer to extinguish your candle. This will prevent wicks from drifting off centre, thus maximising your candle burn time.

Candle Storage

  • Store upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight as well as dust free.

Avoid Draughts

  • Candles do burn at their very best in still air, if you can turn your candle periodically to help avoid your candle burning unevenly.

Candle Safety

  • To prevent fire and serious injury always burn your candle within sight.

How to use your wax melts

Safety Tips

  • Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets nor leave unattended or burning out of sight.
  • Place melter on a level, heat resistant surface away from other heat elements being careful not overfill.
  • The melter may become hot; do not touch while in use to avoid burns.

Wax Melt Storage

  • Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
  • Keep dust free by keeping in the clamshells or packaging dispatched to you in.

Changing your Wax Melts

  • Wait until wax is hardened. Relight the tealight for 10 seconds so wax loosens in the dish. Apply a light pressure to the melt and it should pop out!

How do they work?

The natural fibre reeds continuously release a clean, pure fragrance throughout your space.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

  1. Unscrew the cap and remove the stopper.
  2. Insert the reeds. Tip - depending on your preferred strength of fragrance, we recommend starting with a few reeds then add more until desired strength is achieved.
  3. After 1 hour, flip the reeds to saturate the other ends of the reeds.
  4. Place your reed diffuser where people pass throughout the day, this encourages air circulation and lifts the fragrance.
  5. Flip the reeds everytime you notice the scent dissipating, this is typically once a week.

Your reed diffuser can last a few months depending on the bottle size and air conditions.

Diffuser Safety

  • Flammable liquid. Do not light reeds.
  • Do not ingest.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • People suffering from perfume sensitivity should be cautious.
  • Use gloves when handling used reeds.
  • Do not place diffuser directly onto polished, painted, plastic or leather surfaces or on electrical equipment, as accidental spillage may cause damage.
  • Place diffuser in well ventilated room.
